Horrible horrible horrible service at this Post Office. The employees are rude and make you feel like you're bothering them when you ask for any bit of help. I've been here numerous times and the customer service is easily the worst I've ever had. They really need to replace every single employee starting with the Post Master!

Worst post office in the world

Tried calling (565-1272) on 02/26/2014 at 11:35 am to ask about passport card application appointment. They never answer; after ringing for quite some time the busy signal comes on. I guess customer service oriented goes out the window. This does not bode well for the continued existence of the USPS.

Sending military package to daughter, the young man was rude and I also sent a singing card that he pinched and bent all up,,when she gets it,,,it might not work. Rude,,very rude and I cried as I left,,,I love my daughter.

Who is the postmaster at this place? The grounds-keeping is nonexistent and the place is rundown and un-kept. I went to inquire about a packet and a tall gentleman with glasses at the counter told me he did not want to argue with me. What?? I only want tracking information on the package. Now they are providing their rural mail deliverers with old rundown postal vehicles that I see stranded along the road frequently. Just my experience and observations from an old Mercedes resident.

Maybe the Mercedes Branch employees need a refresher course on telephone etiquette. They need to change.
